Light: Bright indirect light produces the most vivid chartreuse striping and fastest growth. Tolerates low-to-moderate light (north-facing rooms, shaded balconies) with slightly slower growth and softer variegation contrast. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which scorches the leaves.

Water (by season):

-Peak summer: Water every 4–5 days. Check that the top 2–3 cm of soil is dry before watering.

-Monsoon: Water every 6–8 days. High ambient humidity reduces demand — always check soil before adding water to avoid root rot.

-Winter: Water every 8–10 days. Let soil dry out more fully between waterings.

Humidity: Adapts well to normal indoor humidity. In very dry winters or AC-heavy rooms, occasional misting helps but is not essential.

Soil: Well-draining potting mix with perlite or coco-coir blend.

Feeding: Balanced liquid fertiliser (NPK 20:20:20) once a month from March to September. Skip feeding in winter.

Repotting: Every 12–18 months or when roots emerge from the drainage holes. Move to a basket or pot 2 inches larger.

Training: Pinch vine tips regularly to encourage bushier growth in the hanging basket, or train onto a moss pole for a climbing, upright form.
