Coriander microgreens (cilantro microgreens) are flavorful and healthy, but they germinate a little slower than other microgreens. Follow this method for best results ✅

✅ What You Need

• 🪴 Tray/container (drainage holes preferred)
  
• 🌱 Cocopeat / potting mix (or microgreen mat)
  
• 💧 Spray bottle / watering can
  
• ☀️ Bright indirect light / mild sunlight
  

🌡️ Best Temperature

• ✅ 12°C – 24°C
  
• 🌱 Best germination in 15–26°C
  

🪴 Step-by-Step Method

1️⃣ Seed Preparation (Important for Fast Germination)

Coriander seeds have a hard outer shell. For faster sprouting:

• ✋ Gently crush/split seeds (so they break into 2 halves)
  
• 💧 Soak seeds in water for 8–12 hours
  
• Drain and keep them in a cloth for 12–24 hours (optional)
  

✅ This step improves germination and speeds up growth.

2️⃣ Prepare the Tray

• Fill tray with 2–3 cm cocopeat/potting mix
  
• Level the surface gently
  
• Moisten the medium (damp, not wet) 💧
  

3️⃣ Sow the Seeds

• Sprinkle seeds evenly (medium-dense sowing)
  
• Press lightly so seeds touch the soil
  
• Cover with a thin layer of cocopeat (very important for coriander)
  

📏 Covering depth: 0.5 cm approx.

4️⃣ Mist & Cover (Blackout Stage)

• Mist the tray well 💦
  
• Cover with lid/newspaper/another tray for 3–5 days
  (Coriander germinates better in darkness)

💧 Watering Schedule

• Mist 1–2 times daily to keep soil moist
