Product description

Black Ginger, scientifically known as Kaempferia parviflora, is a medicinal herb native to Thailand and parts of Southeast Asia. It belongs to the Zingiberaceae family, which is the same family as regular ginger and turmeric. Despite its name, Black Ginger isn’t the same as common ginger—it has distinct properties and uses, especially in traditional medicine.

Its rhizome (underground stem) has a deep purplish-black color, giving it the nickname “Black Ginger” or sometimes “Thai Ginseng” due to its energizing properties. Traditionally used for centuries in Thai herbal medicine, it’s gaining popularity worldwide for its numerous health benefits.
