Salvia is a heat and drought-tolerant plant but prefers a cool climate to grow. In India, you can sow salvia seeds in the winter season (December-January) and spring (February-March), so that the plant will start flowering in summer.

How To Grow Salvia Blaze Of Fire In Pots

Mulching - You can add 5-8 cm of mulch around the salvia plant to retain moisture and protect the plants from the cold.
