🌱 How to Grow Beetroot Microgreen Seeds 🥗✨

✅ What You Need 🧰

• Beetroot microgreen seeds 🌾
  
• Shallow tray (drainage holes best) 🪴
  
• Cocopeat / seed-starting mix 🥥
  
• Spray bottle 🚿
  
• Lid/another tray for covering 🌫️
  
• Bright window light or grow light 💡
  

1️⃣ Prepare Tray & Medium 🪴

1. Fill tray with 2–3 cm cocopeat/medium.
   
2. Level it and moisten well (like a squeezed sponge) 💧.
   

✅ Tip: Beet microgreens prefer a slightly deeper medium than some other microgreens.

2️⃣ Sow Seeds 🌾

1. Sprinkle seeds evenly on top (avoid heavy overlapping).
   
2. Press gently with your hand ✋ for good contact.
   
3. Add a very thin layer of cocopeat (optional).
   

3️⃣ Watering 💦

• Mist gently after sowing 🚿
  
• Keep the medium moist, not waterlogged 🌧️🚫
  
  ✅ Best: Mist 1–2 times daily depending on heat.
  

4️⃣ Cover / Blackout Stage 🌫️

• Cover tray for 2–4 days (helps germination & even growth).
  
• Remove cover when most seeds sprout 🌱✅
  

⏳ Germination time:
Beetroot microgreen seeds usually germinate in 4–7 days 🌡️🌿 (sometimes up to 10 days if temperatures are cool).

5️⃣ Give Light 💡🌤️

After sprouts appear:

• Keep in bright indirect sunlight 🌤️
  
  or under grow light 10–12 hours/day 💡
  
  ✅ Rotate tray daily if using window light to prevent leaning.
  

6️⃣ Water After Sprouting 🚿

✅ Best method: Bottom watering

• Add water in tray base and let it soak up.
  
  This reduces mold and keeps stems cleaner.
  

7️⃣ Harvest ✂️

⏳ Ready in 14–21 days

Harvest when 6–10 cm tall and leaves look healthy 💚

• Cut just above the soil level with scissors ✂️
