You can easily grow cleome in a pot or garden by transplant method or by direct sowing. Sow the cleome flower seeds when the soil temperature is between 21-26°C. To plant cleome flowers take a pot or grow bag of at least 9 to 15 inches wide and deep.

Cleome Spinose Seeds Sowing Method

Take a seedling tray/pot and fill them with potting soil mix, and spread the cleome seeds on the soil. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and place the seedling tray in a warm and sunny spot. Keep the soil moist until germination. Cleome flower seeds will germinate in 7-14 days.
After seed germination when cleome seedlings have a few true leaves, you can transplant them into pots or grow bags. Plant only 1-2 seedlings in each 9 inches pot for healthy growth. Keep the soil moist and place the pot in partial sunlight for a few days after transplanting to protect the seedling from transplant shock. After 3 days, keep the pot in full sunlight.
